About
I am a versatile actor, singer (tenor) with a vocal range: A2 to F5 belt to E5, and musician.
After completing two years of choral scholarship, I started training as a tenor at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. These choral scholarship years helped me develop my voice and develop as a musician via sight reading, tackling some incredibly difficult music, during my time at Hereford singing 8 services a week and touring to Arromanches-les-Bains singing for the 90th anniversary of D-Day.
During lockdown, I began training online with George Gallagher and The Actors Instinct based in New York. It was whilst completing this programme me decided to pursue his love for acting. It truly changed the way I look at acting forever and gave me a new perspective.
I have subsequently gained my master’s in musical theatre at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. This was fantastic at giving me a firm footing in acting, singing especially via acting through song and technique and dance/movement.
Some of my theatre credits include Julius Soubise in The Pocket (Theatre Peckham), Stephen in Cooper’s Hill Cheese Rolling and Wake (Hackney Empire), Algernon Moncrieff in The Importance of Being Earnest (Malvern Theatres/Edinburgh Fringe) and Colonel Pickering in Pygmalion (Malvern Theatres Stage Company).
I have also recently co-founded a new theatre company for graduates called Int(eruption) Theatre Company, we held tour first scratch night event at The Drayton Arms Theatre London in October. In addition to being thrust into the role Artist Liaison and Administrative Assistant, I wrote and performed a section from a piece of my own writing entitled Free to Speak.
I regularly attend workshops with Craft Masters Acting which not only help me grow as an actor in terms of skills like improvisation, text analysis and being an instinctual actor but also help me grow as a person becoming more detail orientated, courageous and consistent every time to help me grow as an artist and land more opportunities.
